I think this sign is genius and I must have it for my playroom. It embodies everything that I think and feel on a daily basis. Not that I think a sign is going to change me having to repeat the same requests constantly to my kids, but maybe I can just point to it, now that they can read, or at least attempt to . Our playroom in general is a total disaster. I really envy all the moms that seem to have it under control. I have purchased organizers from Ikea and Target and various storage bins in all sizes and colors, but they are just collecting points for “stuff”. To add to this, I wrote in an earlier post that there was a smell of a dead animal in my playroom, well it turns out that the dead animal was a rotting cup of something that resembled a smoothie at one time or another hidden in my youngest daughters pile of stuff. I think that I spend at least 30 minutes a day organizing the space so I can breathe. When we bought our house I had wanted an open concept kitchen to family room so I could see the kids when were playing, well I need a redo on that thought. What I needed was a separate room that could be hidden away, so my house can look like a house, not a dumping ground. I love my kids dearly but now that they are bigger I think we both need a bit of space. I do know how quickly our kids grow so I do love our time together, maybe the mess isn’t so bad, its not such a long time until they wont want a play room. So until that time, I will deal with it, and hope that a sign will work miracles.

You are making me rethink our remodeling ideas for the kitchen!! We were doing an open area playroom adjacent to it!!
