This is the easiest, best tasting roasted chicken my family has ever enjoyed. It is so ridiculously easy it feels like you are cheating. All you need to do is open the carry bag, remove the chicken that lives safely inside of a cooking bag filled with yummy spices, make a slit in the cooking bag and pop it into the oven. They vary in size – so too will the cooking time. Previous experiences required an approximate 2 hour cooking time. I have made this chicken many times and each time it is a hit! Serve it with your favorite side(s). It is also a great ’go-to’ if you are having a few folks over for dinner. Left-overs work well for a salad garnish. Enjoy.

A recent article in the Huffington Post discussed how in a recent survey by Food Network UK, British men prefer their mothers’ cooking over their wives’. I figure that this statistic may be true here in the United States as well, certainly in my house.
It never fails that my husband is always referencing his mothers’ cooking, no matter the situation. We could be at a friends house for dinner and he will say ” these meatballs are the best, just like my mom’s” or if I make let’s say chicken wings he will say “my mom made the best chicken wings, she always had a tray of them sitting out for us after school .” I can’t help but have a tinge of jealousy, and I say ” are mine not good?”, and he always assures me that they are FINE; I have never liked the word fine, it’s just under the borderline of good. » Read more..
