All the stores are giving us the Spring preview with hot brights, color blocking, and Safari inspired looks. I am getting very itchy to get out and get some “fresh kill” as my mother says; introduce any color as long as its not black, grey or a shade of.  I am looking at my winter wardrobe and want to cringe-BORING!. I really don’t know what I am thinking sometimes when I buy things, my purchases are strictly on an as needed basis.  I have a hard time pulling myself together quickly, because I don’t plan my wardrobe at all. It was different when I was in the office everyday, I did plan and had a great wardrobe. Since being home with kids, my look has definitely been taken down quite a few notches.  I promise myself that each season it will be different, I will go out with a list of exactly what I need and then what I would like to have. After that I have visions that I will put outfits together and take pictures and put them in a album so I wont forget what I have and will actually use the stuff. That sounds like a really good idea, but I am too short on time to even put away my laundry. Well, skimming In Style, they have this great Spring Wardrobe Checklist. Its a great way to plan your upcoming events and get those missing pieces that make you feel pulled together. You don’t have to spend a lot of money on updating your wardrobe, just select a few key pieces: a new bag, colored trench, fun shoes, and don’t forget to top it all off with a great lipstick and polish.
